keen color scheme tool

I discovered this nifty online color scheme tool that generates different types of color schemes (monochromatic, contrasting, etc.) from a base color that you can interactively choose. You can use it for web design or whatnot. I used it to make this SWEET new color scheme for my website (which is much more reflective of my personality than those dreary green colors.)

  1. Well, I did like the old scheme, esp that picture with the over it 🙂

This colour scheme is good. I don’t know if I would like the individual colours, but they go together better than I would have thought. I do like the salmon colour though 🙂

  2. The picture was pretty, but it wasn’t MINE (it came with the template I dowloaded — I just put my domain name over the top)…and the color scheme was okay, but it wasn’t reflective of ME.

This is super pretty…playful and sweet, but not cloyingly girly. And I thought it looked a little retro (which I LOVE).

  3. Well, then it’s ALL good! It is playful, but, as you say, not overly girly. Very earthy.

  4. I see the old header is back … I was quite getting used to the salmon *grin* is there anyway to “tint” the header with the salmon coloring?

  5. Hrm … it’s showing up here with the “” writing over the picture of the stairwell …

oh well … maybe it’s just my stupid machine is it’s sucky caching *sigh* either that, or our IT people are trying to be “helpful” and caching on their side 🙁

  6. *grins* I think if I reload your page anymore, my IT guys are going to send another email to the manager saying “You should watch him … He’s spending a large amount of time on this site … ”

    I’ve tried F5 and Ctrl‑R repeatedly *sigh*

I think it’s just a messed up caching issue on my side *grumbles*
